Embroidery Breeze LLC (“we”) makes the Embroidery Breeze website, the Mac and Windows app, and the iPhone and iPad app. This page says what we collect, why, and how to reach us.

What this covers

The website at embroiderybreeze.com, accounts and checkout, the desktop app, and the iOS app. Stitch generation happens on your device. We do not need your hoop design in order for you to sew.

What we collect

  • Account. Email address, a password you choose, or a Google sign-in if you use that. Optional public profile details such as a handle, display name, and avatar.
  • Purchase and license. Stripe processes payment. We keep enough to fulfill the order, send a receipt, and let you activate up to three computers.
  • Optional sharing. If you connect the app and share a design or font to your public profile, that file and its preview are stored so other people can see them.
  • Help and assistant. If you use User Guides chat or the assistant, the messages you send are used to answer you.
  • Email updates. If you sign up for tips and update news, we keep your email address and language so we can send them. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • App files on your device. Designs, photos you pick to trace, and machine files stay on your computer or phone unless you choose to share or upload them.

We do not sell your information. We do not run advertising networks or third-party analytics pixels on the product. Installer download counts are totals only, not emails or IP addresses tied to you.

Who else sees data

We use processors to run the product: Stripe for payment, email delivery for receipts and the updates you sign up for, hosting and file storage for the website and shared designs, Google if you sign in with Google, and a license service to activate the app. They only get what they need to do that job.

If you buy or download through the Apple App Store, Apple’s privacy rules and your Apple Account settings also apply.

Children

Embroidery Breeze is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

How long we keep it

Account records last as long as you have an account. Shared designs stay public until you remove them or delete the account. You can delete your account from My Account, or by writing to the address below if you cannot sign in.

Your choices

You can use the apps without an account. Sharing, a public profile, and website sign-in are optional. You can disconnect the desktop app, or delete the account, under My Account.

Delete your account

You can delete your account yourself. That removes the personal data we store for you: login, email, name, handle, photo, bio, shared designs, assistant chats, connected apps, follows, and your email updates sign-up.

  1. Sign in on the sign-in page.
  2. Open My Account.
  3. Choose Delete account and confirm in the dialog. We then delete the data listed above and sign you out.

We delete the personal data we store. Stripe may keep payment records required for tax and accounting. License records at our license service are detached from your email. Computers already allowed to run Embroidery Breeze can keep using the app; you will not be able to manage them from this website after deletion.

If you cannot sign in, email help@embroiderybreeze.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will do the same erasure.
